Production Details The four Premier Cru plots are vinified together at the Hospices de Beaune under winemaker Ludivine Griveau as a “cuvée ronde.” After devatting, the wine enters new oak Burgundy pièces and is auctioned on the third Sunday of November. Joseph Drouhin recovers the barrels during December and manages the remaining maturation, with decisions based on barrel-by-barrel tasting and technical analysis. Depending on the vintage, release occurs 18–24 months after acquisition.
Tasting Notes Complex, refined nose with intense red-fruit and spice notes; harmonious, fruit-dominant palate with richness, fine tannins and elegant wood influence. The producer's broader 2023 note adds ripe red and black berries, smooth texture, length and complexity.

Production Details Grapes from the four Premier Cru plots are fermented together at the Hospices de Beaune as a “cuvée ronde.” After devatting, the wine enters new oak Burgundy pièces and is auctioned on the third Sunday of November. Drouhin receives the barrels in December and directs the remaining tasting- and analysis-led maturation. The exact-vintage importer describes 18–24 months of cellar maturation after the auction, while the producer more cautiously states that commercialization occurs 18–24 months after acquisition depending on vintage.
Tasting Notes Intense ruby color; expressive and complex red- and black-fruit aromas; remarkable concentration and clearly perceptible terroir nuances. Véronique Boss-Drouhin additionally describes red fruit, spice, a harmonious fruity palate, richness, fine tannins and elegant wood influence.
