2022 Technical Specifications

Grape Varieties Aligoté
Drinking Window 2025-2029
Region Bourgogne Aligote
Sites Les Petits Poiriers and Riaux, both in Puligny-Montrachet
Grape Clone Aligoté doré
Fermentation Vessels Oak barrels
Production Details Made from approximately 50-year-old vines in two Puligny-Montrachet plots. The wine stayed on its lees in 500-L and 600-L barrels for around one year, with less than 10% new oak. The domaine's 2022 protocol used barrel alcoholic and malolactic fermentation, protective handling that kept juice away from oxygen, pre-fermentation grape cooling to 12°C, moderate sulfur use and lunar-cycle-guided bottling. The domaine harvest began in mid-August; that timing is estate-wide rather than cuvée-specific.
Tasting Notes Green-gold color; orchard fruit, pastry and orange-blossom aromas; crisp, clean palate with apple-skin flavor and stony minerality.
