Production Details La Côte Faron is a multi-vintage lieu-dit made in a mini-Solera style. The 2005-base release contained reserve wines back to 1994, spent six years on its lees, and was disgorged on 20 April 2012. A 2016-base release was reviewed on 25 November 2023 and described as disgorged earlier that year. The 2017-base release was disgorged in February 2024 with a dosage of 1.5 g/L. The disgorgement and dosage observations are retained as release-specific context rather than generalized as NVXX-wide canonical dosage or disgorgement values.
Tasting Notes William Kelley, 25 November 2023, 2016-base release: pear, buttered citrus, peach, beeswax, iodine, fresh pastry, vanilla, ripe acidity, and a long sapid, chalky finish. Kristaps Karklins, 8 November 2024, 2017-base/February-2024-disgorgement release: honeysuckle, candied lemon zest, warm spices, dried fruit, succulent acidity, and a full-bodied, structured profile.
