Grape Varieties Pinot Noir
Classification Chambolle-Musigny AOC village wine
Region Aux Croix
Soil Shallow, Limestone-rich soil with substantial gravel and excellent drainage
Orientation North–South Rows, Perpendicular To The Slope
Production Details Grapes were hand harvested and sorted in both the vineyard and cellar. The exact 2022 page says approximately one-third was experimentally fermented as whole clusters, but elsewhere on the same page states “40% trospersing” (bunch pressing), so the proportion and operation are not fully consistent. After malolactic fermentation the wine was racked; pigeage and remontage were minimized. The page describes 18–20 months in barrel with around 30% new barrique for village wines, while its parcel section and Burgundy Report state 18 months. Burgundy Report additionally records an estate-wide harvest beginning 25 August, lasting five days, and an estate-wide yield of 42 hl/ha; neither figure is presented as specific to the Aux Croix parcel.
Tasting Notes Bill Nanson, tasting with Justine Clerget on 1 December 2023, described airy floral aromas, direct and vibrant fruit, and an exquisite finish. The exact-vintage merchant additionally notes violet, raspberry, blueberry, mint and vanilla aromas.

Production Details The Aux Croix parcel was vinified separately. The wine-level entry says approximately 40% whole clusters were used, but the same report quotes Justine Clerget as saying that no stems were used anywhere in 2021; this remains an unresolved internal contradiction. The report describes 18 months of élevage for the domaine's 2021 wines.
Tasting Notes Bill Nanson, tasting with Justine Clerget on 7 October 2022 during élevage, described a compact but broadening nose, an incisive and fuller palate, evident structure, fine texture and a faintly saline finish.
