Production Details Clos Jebsal is a 1.3-hectare domaine monopole. Its gypsum-and-clay soil retains moisture. The producer explains that earlier harvests now impede high-quality noble rot, so since 2020 the site has produced very dry wines. Total acidity is also reported as 4.3 g/L on the H2SO4-equivalent basis.
Tasting Notes Pale yellow; intense smoky and flinty nose; broad and intense palate, finishing very dry, austere, taut and strict.

Bottling Date August 2019
Production Details For this Vendange Tardive release, the very dry 2018 conditions produced little botrytis but favoured passerillage and natural concentration. Fermentation was not slow; indigenous yeasts stopped earlier as residual sugar and alcohol increased. Total acidity is also reported as 3.1 g/L on the H2SO4-equivalent basis.
Tasting Notes Light yellow; ripe pear, peach and apricot; rich yet harmonious, elegant and supple, with a delicate finish and silky clay-derived texture.

Fermentation was rapid and vigorous, producing what the producer calls a classically balanced wine. Total acidity is also reported as 3.3 g/L on the H2SO4-equivalent basis.
Tasting Notes Deep straw-gold; peach, apricot, white fruit and honey; rounded and seductive, with fine sweetness, good length and an elegant finish.
