Production Details The vineyards have a gentle slope. Fermentation was still underway during the 2005 harvest and had finished by the producer’s January 2006 tasting note. Finished-wine total acidity was reported as 4.4 g/L H2SO4, corresponding to 6.7 g/L as tartaric-acid equivalent.
Tasting Notes Producer tasting note dated January 2006: powerful, complex and mineral, with a palate perceived as genuinely dry; compared with the 2001 but described as more powerful.

Production Details The vineyards have a very gentle slope. Grapes were harvested at full maturity to over-ripeness without botrytis. Fermentation continued until September 2002 and finished nearly dry. Finished-wine total acidity was reported as 5.0 g/L H2SO4, corresponding to 7.7 g/L as tartaric-acid equivalent.
Tasting Notes Producer tasting note dated January 2003: intense pale yellow; initially marked by élevage and needing time to open; lively acidity, fine yet powerful texture, very dry impression, and a mineral expression with good ageing prospects.
