Production Details The parcel was planted in 1927, 1965 and 2019. Grapes were hand-picked into small crates and sorted in the vineyard and again at the sorting table. They were fully destemmed without crushing, and intact berries entered the fermentation vats by gravity. The 17-day maceration included a four-day cold soak at 12°C, indigenous-yeast fermentation, post-fermentation maceration and three punch-downs. The wine matured for 12 months in long, gently toasted French oak on fine lees without racking. It was gravity-bottled in October 2022 after light lenticular filtration and without fining. Recommended serving temperature is 15–16°C, with 30–60 minutes of decanting.
Tasting Notes Deep ruby with garnet highlights; black cherry, blackberry, dark plum, cinnamon, clove, dried violet and rose petals; concentrated black fruit, bright acidity, fine-grained tannins and a creamy, silky texture; long mineral, herbal and earthy finish.
