Production Details Importer-attributed release information describes the 1976 Gran Reserva as an intensive selection from five estate vineyard sites and the oldest vines belonging to Muga's growers. It was fermented and aged in a mixture of American and French oak, with a minimum of 36 months in barrel followed by a minimum of 36 months in bottle before commercial release. Less than 3% of each vintage was retained for archival aging.
