Production Details Fruit came exclusively from the 40-hectare La Plana plot, planted in 1950 within the 300-hectare Ygay estate. Grapes were hand-selected into small-capacity bins, destemmed and passed over a sorting table. The varieties fermented separately, with approximately 10–12 days of vatting accompanied by pumpovers and délestage. Tempranillo matured for 34 months in 225-L American-oak barrels and Mazuelo for 34 months in 225-L French-oak barrels; after blending, the wine remained in concrete for 20 months until bottling.
