Production Details The attributed winemaker note identifies fruit from the 1.13 ha Quintanilla parcel planted in 1951. The reproduced Wine Advocate review describes the Elvillar parcel as having limestone and sandstone soils.

Production Details The 2018 release came from a 1.13 ha plot planted in 1951 and farmed organically without pesticides or herbicides. Grapes were hand-picked, with bunch and berry sorting and an average grape yield of 4,000 kg/ha. The paired producer sheets conflict on harvest-crate capacity: the English sheet says 10 kg, while the Spanish sheet says 15 kg. Cold maceration lasted 24–48 hours, followed by 10–12 days of fermentation with one daily pigeage and a small pump-over. Malolactic fermentation took place in barrel, followed by nine months in French-oak barrel.
