Production Details The official e-label reports 311 kJ energy, 0.9 g carbohydrate and 0.23 g nutritional sugars per 100 ml; the distributor separately reports sugar content below 3 g/L. The field blend was hand harvested and partially destemmed by hand, with 40% whole bunches, spontaneous indigenous-yeast fermentation in an open-top barrel, and very gentle pressing at fermentation's end. It matured for 18 months in used wood and amphorae.
Tasting Notes Ruby red; aromas of dark berries, Morello cherry, plum and cherry with hints of oak and spice; rich, fresh and juicy palate with dark and light berries, an oak hint and a long finish.
