Production Details The grapes were hand-destemmed and fermented with 40% stems, indigenous yeasts and a 15-day maceration. The wine matured with its lees in a 500-L French-oak barrel for one year, then was returned to barrel with lees from the 2023 Clarete to complete 16 months of élevage. Tasting Notes Luis Gutiérrez/Wine Advocate: perfumed, with orange peel, faded flowers, thyme and pine; herbal without green or stemmy character, tense, beautiful and already expressive. Jamie Goode: floral, with red cherries, plums, mineral and stony character, chalky and gravelly. Mike Bennie: blueberry, black olive, alpine herbs, tart cherry, creamy vanilla and spice, with fine fresh tannins.
