Production Details The 12.5-ha vineyard comprises steep slopes and terraces at 250–350 m, with vines approximately 21–36 years old. Part of the fruit was fermented uncrushed in oak vats with indigenous yeasts. The page contains a maturation-duration conflict: its principal data and embedded Wine Advocate note report 15 months in oval oak foudres and large barrels, while its embedded Decanter note reports 19 months in large French-oak barrels.
Tasting Notes Vila Viniteca en-primeur tasting: very good structure with a fresh, almost sparkling sensation. Embedded Decanter note: violets, redcurrants, wild herbs, mint, cherries, blood orange and spice; medium-bodied, long and elegant.
