Production Details The 1.5-hectare Coal vineyard was planted in 2012 and averaged approximately 3,500 kg of grapes per hectare; part of it produced particularly small berries. Organic viticulture employed anti-hail nets and cover crops. Minimal-intervention alcoholic fermentation with wild yeast occurred in fine-grained, medium-toast French oak barrels. Maturation comprised 12 months in barrel on fine lees followed by 24 months in bottle.
