Production Details Old-vine Spätburgunder from a parcel planted in 1963 in the old Siebeldingen Forst site. Following selective hand harvest, only a small portion of the grapes was destemmed. The must was cooled and cold-macerated until spontaneous fermentation began, then pressed after fermentation. The wine matured for 18 months in new and used barriques of French and Palatinate oak before being racked and bottled without pumping or filtration; the producer lists it as dry and organic.

Production Details The Förster parcel in the old Siebeldingen Forst site was planted by Eduard Rebholz in 1963. The producer states that the parcel was first vinified separately in 2016 and that the 2017 vintage joined its Pinot Noir range; it describes Buntsandstein subsoil and very old vines. Wengler's selection independently identifies the 2017 Förster and labels the Rebholz range organic.
