Production Details Producer’s 2006 estate-harvest context, not a cuvée-specific picking record: rapidly increasing botrytis raised must weights while reducing volume; trained pickers removed unusably rotten grapes, and sound noble-rot grapes and berries were used for noble-sweet wines. The estate harvest lasted just over two weeks and ended on 20 October 2006. The producer states that fruit for its vineyard-designated wines is selectively hand-picked; the steepest Frühlingsplätzchen vineyard reaches a 70% gradient.
