Production Details The Friday lot was harvested at approximately 210° Oechsle. It came from a more radical selection of individual berries than the Thursday lot, was basket pressed 24 hours after that lot, and was kept separate because the two components differed too strongly to assemble. Published analyses conflict: Mosel Fine Wines reports 350 g/L residual sugar and 16 g/L acidity, while a February 2017 winery-visit note for AP #25-16 reports 400 g/L residual sugar and 15 g/L acid; neither source states the acidity-equivalence basis.
Tasting Notes Raisin, pineapple, honeyed exotic fruit, fig, date and acacia honey; very concentrated and dense, yet fresh, finely structured and exceptionally persistent.
Critics Ratings Mosel Fine Wines 100/100 (October 2019)
