Production Details Fruit from very old vines trained on individual poles was fermented to a noble-sweet level of residual sugar. The release was produced in limited quantity.
Tasting Notes James Suckling described TBA-like concentration, floral honey, fresh acidity and a succulent finish. Mosel Fine Wines (August 2020) noted pink grapefruit, mirabelle, anise, greengage, spices, honey, intense sweetness, zest and high dry extract. Ulrich Sautter for Falstaff (23 November 2020) noted sultana, candied lemon and ginger, fine botrytis, rock, dried fig and date, with sweetness, viscosity, bracing acidity and tactile minerality.
