Soil Volcanic weathered soil and loess loam, Further described as weathered porphyry and water-retentive loess loam on middle nahe hillsides
Fermentation Vessels Classic large wooden cask; the maturation passage specifies traditional Stück and Doppelstück casks
Oak Types German/local oak
Contains Added Sulfites Yes
Production Details Cask no. 2511. Middle Nahe hillside fruit from approximately 45-year-old vines, approximate yield 50 hl/ha, and selective hand harvest. The producer sheet conflicts internally on maturation: its specification says fermentation and approximately six months of maturation in a classic large German-oak cask, while its later prose says five months in traditional local-oak Stück and Doppelstück casks. The supplementary vendor sheet says six months in old local-oak Stück and Doppelstück casks and recommends serving at 10–12°C. These approximate/range values are retained as text and not converted to exact numeric fields.
Tasting Notes Dense and fully fermented; fine herbal spice, cool fruit and pleasant acidity; full yet elegantly balanced, with expression, depth and clear origin

Production Details Official evidence is for the 1.5 L magnum release, cask no. 24112. The sheet gives an approximate yield of 50 hl/ha and selective hand harvest, but conflicts on vine age (approximately 30 years in the specification versus up to 45 years in the narrative) and maturation (approximately six months in a classic large German-oak cask versus five months in traditional local-oak Stück and Doppelstück casks). The qualified and conflicting figures are retained as text rather than normalized into exact numeric fields.
Tasting Notes Multifaceted, dense, dry and fully fermented, with fine herbal spice, cool fruit, harmoniously integrated acidity, depth and style
