Tasting Notes Wine Advocate (October 2008) described honey, nut paste, pit and tropical fruits, smoky and saline mineral notes, creamy richness, levity and elegance. John Gilman (March 2008) noted apple, pear, guava, honeycomb, slate, petrol, sea salt and lavender, with full body, purity, pronounced acidity and a very long finish. International Wine Cellar (January 2008) recorded candied peach, lemon oil, acacia honey, candied papaya, smoky botrytis and herbal spices.
