Production Details The 2014 wine was the first production from the revived 0.2-hectare Lambertskirch vineyard. The site was cleared after Peter Lauer acquired it in 2010, replanted in 2012 with mixed clonal selections from very old vines, and produced only a tiny quantity of Spätlese in 2014.
Tasting Notes Mosel Fine Wines, 14 September 2015: fruit-led Riesling character with fresh-herb and smoke notes; assessment was qualified because the young vineyard and some botrytis made its terroir profile difficult to isolate.
