Production Details The grapes were harvested in October and comprised 100% healthy fruit. They were gently crushed, macerated on the skins for several hours, and then fermented slowly at cool temperature with natural yeasts. The wine was matured in barriques and large wooden casks with extended post-fermentation lees contact; Heiner Lobenberg additionally reports that part of the élevage was in new wood, without quantifying the proportion or duration.
