Production Details The producer’s May 2025 subscription listed the 2023 Abtsberg Pinot Noir at approximately 13.5% alcohol in 0.75 L, 1.5 L and 3.0 L formats. Because the brochure expressly labels its alcohol figures approximate, 13.5% is not proposed as an exact alcohol_percent value.
Tasting Notes Elegant and highly complex, combining power and structure with clarity and filigree character; gentle spice, salty finesse and velvety tannins lead into a deep yet elegant finish.

Production Details Naturally fermented in open-top stainless steel and matured for 18 months in oak barriques, of which 30% were new. Total production was 100 cases. The importer labels the wine sustainably grown, pesticide- and herbicide-free, GMO-free and gluten-free; its nutrition panel reports 110 calories and 0.3 g carbohydrate/sugar per 5-US-fluid-ounce serving, with no fat or cholesterol.
Tasting Notes Delicate, elegant structure with subtle acidity, velvety tannins and fruit aromas. Caro Maurer MW (Decanter, October 2024) noted coffee and cocoa from the French-wood maturation and a silky, open, polished palate. Stuart Pigott (James Suckling, October 2024) described red beet, wet earth, candied orange and baking-spice aromas, fine tannins, and a long, velvety finish.
