Production Details The grapes for this 2020 release were harvested at 78–80 °Oechsle. Its 60-year-old parcel is described as lying on an 80% gradient. Pinard explicitly distinguishes this wine from the auction variant made from exclusively ungrafted, 120-year-old vines. For broader site context, VDP records the classified Schubertslay area as 0.56 ha at 150–190 m elevation with a 55–65% gradient; these broader-site ranges should not be treated as exact measurements for Keller’s parcel.
Tasting Notes Slate-dominated; light spice; pear; apple skin; honeysuckle; peach; nutmeg; a touch of exotic fruit; dense yet transparent, silky, light-footed and balanced between fruit and acidity
