Production Details Hand harvested. The vineyard is described as an extreme steep site with a 70% gradient; this percentage has been retained without converting it to degrees.

Anne Krebiehl MW for Vinous additionally describes citrus foliage and zest, pale white peach, tangy orange peel, stony linearity, freshness and poise; Stephan Reinhardt for The Wine Advocate notes concentrated fruit and flowers, salinity and phenolic grip.
Food Pairing Asian cuisine and spicy dishes; the importer also recommends robust savoury dishes, non-blue cheeses, red meat, and moderately sweet fruit- or custard-based desserts when young.
