Tasting Notes Falstaff tasting of 30 June 2007: light gold, restrained and ethereal, with mature candy-like, herbal and peach-confit aromas; tropical fruit, restrained acidity, lemon nuances and good length. Mosel Fine Wines, Issue 34 (April 2017): yellow-orange, with candied orange and grapefruit, acacia honey, dried herbs, nut cream and smoke; creamy mature fruit is balanced by zesty acidity, leading to an exceptionally long, refined finish.

Tasting Notes Falstaff tasting of 30 June 2007: medium yellow-gold; blood orange, caramel, vanilla and floral honey; juicy fruit, sweet richness, fine acidity and a notably youthful, balanced profile. A second bottle appeared more mature, with cooked rhubarb, quince and raspberry, followed by a somewhat drying finish.
