Production Details Producer's 2018 vintage context, not bottling-specific: the estate harvest ran from 24 September to 20 October, with an average estate yield of 51 hl/ha. Noble rot remained a very small proportion, but the affected berries were described as exceptionally high quality; warm, dry conditions also shrivelled healthy berries, increasing sugar concentration while reducing yield. The observed 0.375 L Goldkapsel A.P. no. 12 listing describes Botrytis-affected Riesling berries selected by hand, berry by berry.
Tasting Notes Honeydew honey, dried apricot, fig, candied orange peel, saffron and slate-petroleum minerality; concentrated sweetness, sharp lively acidity, creamy texture and a very long finish.
