Production Details The producer's Beerenauslese method intensifies harvest sorting to the selection of individual berries. Its general cellar practice is hand harvesting, transport in small containers, gentle pressing either directly or as lightly crushed whole berries according to fruit condition, 24 hours of must settling, and transfer to Fuder casks or stainless-steel tanks. Fermentation is usually spontaneous and often stops naturally in the cool cellar; wines are drawn off their lees, gently filtered and bottled early in the following year. As estate-level 2024 context rather than an exact-lot specification, the initial harvest attempt occurred on October 14 and serious picking resumed on October 21 after botrytis developed into noble rot; total estate yield was 7.5 Fuder, approximately 450 L/ha, and the producer described acidity as high and concentration as considerable.
