Production Details The producer planned to begin harvest on 6 October but started on the preceding Sunday because rain was forecast; the estate harvest ended 16 October. Some of the best Scharzhofberg and Wiltinger braune Kupp parcels were harvested before the rain at nearly ideal sugar and acidity values. Subsequent rainfall exceeded 70 mm over three days and lowered must weights by more than 10 degrees; the estate finished picking before complete botrytis development and reported a vintage-wide yield of 24 hl/ha.
