Production Details The Braune Kupp source parcel is described as a 4.5-hectare monopole that is partly owned and partly leased by Egon Müller. In producer-reported, estate-wide 2023 context—not a yield measurement for this bottling—the third bunch on every shoot was removed; selective picking of noble-rotten fruit was possible from mid-September; harvest began on 20 September and the final grapes were brought in on 10 October. Yields declined from about 50 hl/ha early in harvest to an estate average of 28 hl/ha.
Tasting Notes 2023 release — Heiner Lobenberg describes passion fruit, very ripe grapefruit, crystalline fruit, mineral character, richness and a mouth-watering acid line. Stephan Reinhardt's Wine Advocate note describes a floral, finely spicy nose with delicate reduction and a refined, juicy, savory palate with crystalline acidity.

Production Details Recommended serving temperature is 8–10°C; this range is retained here rather than converted into a single serving_temp_c value. Gerstl reports Egon Müller saying drought caused no major problems and that grapes were removed through crop thinning, contributing substance to the wines. The producer's estate-wide 2022 report says harvest began on 19 September and the principal harvest ended on 6 October; its reported 40 hl/ha average is estate-wide and is not assigned to this bottling.
Tasting Notes 2022 release — Gerstl describes ripe fruit with freshness, elegance, depth, mineral character, delicate spice and present but refined acidity.
