Production Details Fermented in French oak barriques with selected yeasts at controlled temperature; alcoholic fermentation lasted 9 days. Matured for 12 months in French barriques on the lees. The east-facing vineyard has 6,000 vines/ha and an approximate yield of 25 hl/ha. Grapes were manually harvested in approximately 13 kg crates. Progressive thinning occurred after flowering, at veraison, and about 15 days before harvest, followed by selection passes one week and two days before harvest; sorting occurred at harvest and again before pressing. The vineyard is at Riva San Vitale in Mendrisiotto. The exact-vintage DM Vini sheet recommends serving at 8–10°C.
Tasting Notes Freshly cut pear, melon, pineapple and white-fleshed fruit; fresh and crisp, with roundness, softness, pleasant warmth and body, good acid-to-richness balance, and a clean, persistent finish.
