Production Details Intermittent rain during vintage enabled excellent infection and growth of Botrytis cinerea, which reached full flavour in mid-April. Botrytis desiccated the berries, concentrating sugar and contributing distinctive flavour.
Tasting Notes Pale gold; intense honeysuckle, musk and vanilla aromas with lemon thyme and ginger; long, luscious palate with opulent stone-fruit and spice flavours; sweetness balanced by acidity and a lingering finish.
Food Pairing Tarte Tatin with cinnamon ice cream; baklava; lemon-curd and Italian-meringue tartlets; or blue cheese.
