Production Details Solera-produced fortified wine made from additionally matured Grandfather stocks and fortified with a bespoke low-strength spirit intended to preserve primary fruit while adding depth and integration. The current solera contains components spanning 1960–2016.
Tasting Notes Lustrous deep tawny with a yellow-green edge; toffee, praline, quince paste, fig, raisin, candied peel, toasted almond and roasted chestnut aromas; dark fruitcake, milk and dark chocolate, coffee, vanilla, aniseed, brûlée sugar, orange zest and marzipan on the palate, with a long persistent finish.
