Production Details Fruit was sourced from McLaren Vale, Barossa Valley, Frankland River, Port Lincoln and Padthaway. The cool, wet La Niña-influenced season brought elevated winter and spring rainfall, variable fruit set and lower yields in many Shiraz blocks, followed by mild summer conditions, slow ripening and a later-than-average harvest.
Tasting Notes Black core with vivid purple rim; black and blue fruits, dark spices, lightly roasted coffee, wet steel, ferric ironstone, flint, cordite smoke, herbs, nettles, oolong tea and goji berry; juicy, generous and firmly structured, with rare-steak savouriness, olive brine, finely woven tannins, Chinese tea, fennel and liquorice.
