Production Details Temperate, dry growing season with successful pollination and fruit set; grapes were picked at optimum ripeness. Fruit fermented for 14 days in open-top fermenters, was pressed near dryness to French oak barriques, matured for 20 months, then underwent barrel selection before blending and bottling.
Tasting Notes Dark purple with red-black hues; cassis, fresh plum, bay leaf, cedar pencil shavings, freshly cut grass, sour cherry, savory dried herbs, blackcurrant, and powder-fine tannins.
