Production Details Fortified by adding spirit halfway through primary fermentation while the wine retained alcohol and fruity sweetness, halting yeast activity. Four stored barrels of the historic blend formed the base of the release; a portion of its fruit was harvested in 1981 from what is now Yangarra Estate Vineyard.
Tasting Notes Rich, luscious and concentrated, with deep brown tawny colour and leathery, nutty and spicy characteristics.
