Production Details Fruit from the Upper Tintara Vineyard's 2.54-hectare 1891 Ancestor Vine block was hand-picked on 10 March 2022, fermented in 2-tonne open-top fermenters and kept on skins for two weeks. It was then pressed directly to French oak, with the producer specifying 20% new oak and d’Aquitaine and François Frères hogsheads. Barrel maturation lasted eighteen months before bottling in September 2023.
Tasting Notes Blueberry and dark cherry with a hint of spice; red fruits, savoury tannin structure and a graceful finish; elegant and fine.

Production Details The grapes were hand-picked on 3 March 2021 and fermented in 2-tonne open fermenters. The wine spent two weeks on skins before being pressed directly to French oak: one new d’Aquitaine and two older François Frères hogsheads. It matured in barrel for eighteen months and was bottled on 5 April 2023.

Production Details Fruit was hand-picked from the top section of the 1891 Ancestor Vine block on 19 February 2015, fermented in a 2-tonne open fermenter and hand-plunged three times daily. At sugar dryness the wine was drained and the skins pressed. It went directly to one new and two older French-oak barriques, matured for nearly two years, and was bottled without filtration in January 2017. The museum release followed in April 2025.
Tasting Notes Dark red berry fruits, dried herbs and mocha spice; elegant, restrained and poised, with red fruits, fine French-oak char and fine-grained tannins.

Production Details Approximately one tonne was hand-picked from the 1891 Ancestor Vine block at 14.1 Baumé on 27 February 2012. The fruit was destemmed, fermented in a small open vessel for ten days and hand-plunged at least three times daily. It then remained on skins for fourteen days after fermentation, was basket pressed and transferred to second-fill Dargaud et Jaegle French-oak barriques. Barrel maturation lasted nearly two years; the wine was filtered and bottled in February 2014, then bottle-matured for seven years before its March 2021 release.
Tasting Notes Blackberry and dark fruits with cherry-brandy and star-anise hints; rich, generous and full-bodied, with deep dark fruit, fine supple tannins and a persistently long finish.
