Production Details Single-vineyard fruit was hand-picked. Ten percent whole bunches were placed at the bottom of the fermenter; the remainder was destemmed without crushing to retain whole berries. The wine was open-fermented for 14 days and hand-plunged twice daily, then pressed into seasoned oak and a 1,600 L oak vat and matured for eight months. No acid was added, and the wine was lightly filtered at bottling. The producer reports 650 cases. The finished-wine page also lists TA as 7.7 but provides neither a unit nor an acid-equivalent basis, so it is not represented as canonical total acidity.
Tasting Notes Youthful and perfumed, with summer berries, blackberry, blueberry, bay leaf and star anise; juicy dark-red fruit, black cherry, deep plum and mulberry, with crisp tannins and vibrant acidity.
