Production Details Single-vineyard, limited cellar-door release of 100 dozen; produced only in exceptional years. Grapes were harvested at night, gently pressed, settled, cool-fermented in tank with an aromatic yeast strain, briefly matured in oak after fermentation, treated with SO2, and prepared early for bottling.
Tasting Notes Pale straw; apricot, lemon curd, lanolin, musk stick, ginger spice and rose-petal aromas; supple palate with soft natural acidity, textural phenolics, melon, peach, ripe pear and nutmeg; rich fruit drive and a long, beeswax-like, dry textured finish.
