Soil Topsoil varies from fertile karri loam to gravelly sandy loam, With laterite beginning approximately 30 cm below the surface; the gravelly, Sloping block is very free-draining.

Production Details 80 cases produced; the free-draining block yielded small, concentrated berries.
Tasting Notes Dark and inky; blackberry, cassis, prune, floral notes, dark chocolate, cigar box, tobacco leaf, and dried herbs; rich dark-berry fruit, integrated cedary oak, cacao, red earth, and black-olive tapenade; fine-grained tannins, lively acidity, and a persistent finish.
