Production Details Dolcetto was originally planted in Best’s Nursery Block in the late 1860s; subsequent Best’s plantings derive from cuttings of those vines, including a 1971 planting at Concongella Vineyard and a newer planting at Sugarloaf Creek Vineyard.
Tasting Notes Ruby red with crimson hues; fresh cherry, cranberry and red fruit, with dried herb and bay leaf aromas; cherry and crushed cranberry on the palate, followed by dried herb and white-pepper spice, crisp acidity and fine-grained tannins; medium-full bodied.
