Production Details Grenache sourced from estate plantings on the western and northern sides of the Barossa; Shiraz from Eden Valley plantings; Mataro from plantings on the northern side of the Barossa. Fermented through Seppeltsfield's historic 1888 Gravity Cellar using gravity for gentle extraction; parcels were assessed through bench-blending trials before assemblage and bottling.
Tasting Notes Medium youthful red; bright, pure red fruit led by cherry, with spicy lift; fleshy blue fruit and earthy, savoury notes; medium weight with savoury tannins.
Food Pairing Tapas and grazing foods, including duck rillettes, ripe white-mould cheeses and crusty baguette.
