Production Details The 2024 Barossa Valley season combined high June rainfall, a dry late winter and spring, rain from late November to early January, and a dry summer. Cooler late-March weather supported Mataro ripening and harvest into early April.
Tasting Notes Deep purple with crimson hues; dark plum, blackcurrant, cassis, flowering herbs, mace, nutmeg and cedar aromas; redcurrant, blueberry, black cherry, satsuma plum, bergamot, fennel seed, olive tapenade and peppercorn on the palate, with balanced acidity, velvety tannins, length and depth.
