Production Details Fruit comes from a single vineyard in the Greenock sub-region of Barossa Valley; the Elderton family acquired the vineyard in 2010. The 2024 season produced significantly reduced yields and concentrated flavour and structure.
Tasting Notes Dark purple appearance; vibrant red-fruit aroma with spicy oak overtones; plum and spiced red berries, dark chocolate and baking spice, with long silken tannins and a powerful fruit finish.
Food Pairing Wagyu Scotch fillet; Barossa lamb backstrap; slow-cooked beef cheek; beef fillet with mushroom and truffle; beef-and-mushroom pithivier; or mushroom stroganoff.
