Production Details The Cabernet component provides structure and a juicy herbal character; it was blended with generous Shiraz, some of which underwent barrel fermentation, and a small amount of Merlot.
Tasting Notes Lifted just-ripe plum and bay leaf aromas; vibrant cassis, cinnamon, clove, earth and forest floor; deep crimson appearance; powerful yet elegant mouthfeel with fine, long tannins.
Food Pairing Chargrilled lamb backstrap, slow-cooked lamb shoulder, rich beef dishes such as short rib or cheeks, and aged hard cheeses
