Production Details Winter and early spring supplied adequate soil moisture; variable Yarra Valley spring weather extended flowering and moderated yields, while Tasmania was cooler and more settled. A largely mild summer with few heat spikes supported slow, even ripening and natural-acidity retention; timely rain allowed selective harvesting by site and aspect.
Tasting Notes Strawberry red, bright and translucent; cherry, strawberry, compote, coulis, rosehip spice, rhubarb, musk, frangipani, frankincense, corn, wheatgrass and exotic spice aromas; fresh acidity with cherry pip, grapefruit, pomegranate, dried cranberry, whetstone minerality and fine mineral-like tannins.
