Production Details The Riesling comes from particularly high Loibenberg parcels whose poor soils give especially low yields. Vineyard work is manual and sustainable; the grapes are hand-harvested in several passes. After several hours of skin contact, fermentation takes place in stainless steel, followed by maturation partly in large wooden cask. Loibenberg as a whole reaches 420 m, but the sheet does not give an exact elevation for this wine’s parcels. Finished-wine acidity is reported as 6.6‰; because the producer does not state its acid-equivalent basis, it is retained here without conversion to total_acidity_gl.
