Production Details The terraced vineyard extends from above 360 m to above 500 m. It is steep, worked exclusively by hand, managed sustainably and increasingly organically without insecticides or herbicides, and requires several picking passes because elevations ripen differently. After short skin contact, the wine is fermented under controlled conditions, matured in stainless steel and held for an unspecified period on fine lees before bottling. The producer's general 2024 vintage note describes the harvest as exceptionally early on 3 September; it does not establish that as the sole Trenning picking date.
Tasting Notes Peach, apricot, cool spice, grapefruit and floral aromas; vital, taut and dynamic, with a linear palate, marked minerality, structured acidity and an elegant, balanced finish.
Food Pairing Wiener schnitzel, fried-chicken salad, trout strudel, stuffed peppers, lemon risotto, vitello tonnato, herb-marinated mackerel, and Indian or Thai curries.
