Production Details Fruit came from the steep, rocky upper part of the producer's exclusive Pfarrweingarten site. The producer shop describes vines aged 45+ years, while the collection brochure describes site vines up to 50 years old. Fully ripe grapes were selectively hand-harvested into small boxes, with rigorous selection of the ripest berries. The upper parcel was harvested separately; Weißburgunder, Morillon and Grauburgunder were picked together. Fermentation and maturation took place in oak barrels, including 60 months on fine lees before bottling; the wine was released seven years after harvest.
