Production Details From vintage 2022 onward, the wine combines an older lacustrine-limestone Grüner Veltliner vineyard with a double-planted steep schist parcel. The parcels are fermented and aged separately before blending. Grapes are hand-harvested, destemmed and foot-crushed; part of the juice receives 5–12 days of maceration. Fermentation uses indigenous yeast in large barrels, followed by one year in large barrel and bottling without fining, filtration or added sulfur. Importer descriptions conflict on vine age: Newcomer calls the 2023 vines 70 years old, Jenny & François says up to 40 years, and Racines lists planting in 1981.
Tasting Notes Fresh stone fruit, flinty minerality, and a nutty, umami finish

Production Details Vintage 2022 was the first to combine two Grüner Veltliner parcels: an older lacustrine-limestone vineyard and a double-planted steep schist slope. The parcels were fermented and aged separately before blending. Grapes were hand-harvested, destemmed and foot-crushed; part of the juice received 5–12 days of maceration. Indigenous-yeast fermentation in large barrels was followed by one year in large barrel, then bottling without fining, filtration or added sulfur. The importer gives the vines as up to 40 years old, while Racines lists planting in 1981.
